Vitiligo may be different in various people. The course and the severity of the loss of pigment vary in every patient. In many of the cases, this disease starts with a small patch and by the passage of time, the spots get bigger. In some people, the white patches do not get widen and stay the same for years and then all of a sudden, new areas start emerging.
